A Sign of Life

A Sign of Life is a personal project in which I was the sole animator and is based on my friend Kayla McGuinn’s music.

The story follows an alien scientist as he searches for other signs of life in the universe. When his journey is about to reach an unceremonious end, something spectacular happens.

Annabel Lee

Annabel Lee is a collaborative project I completed with a group of artists and animators in the Georgia Tech Animation Club. I was the director of the project as the president of the club. It is a combination of both 2D and 3D animation and is based on Edgar Allen Poe’s poem of the same name. The music was once again composed by Kayla McGuinn.

Experience

From January 2023 - August 2023, I was an animation intern for the Childhood Cancer Society (CCS). My experience there was absolutely incredibly as I not only received professional feedback from supervisors and sharpened my animation skills, but I also was able to help the noble cause of helping children with cancer.

All of the shots with the bear character are from this internship and we posted on the Adventure Ted social media page.

Birds at Work

I learned a lot about animation; however, I felt like I didn’t have much to show for it. As a result, I decided to quit nitpicking over my work and actually complete something. From that, I decided to create a complete animated short in one month.

It was exhausting work, especially since it was my first time; however, working on this project led me to learn so many different software, applications, pre-production principles, and organization.
